CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS POLICY

ECREA encourages future members to carefully consider the type of membership that is best for them and if in case of doubt inquire at info@ecrea.eu.

Refunds for a cancelled membership will be considered and issued at the discretion of ECREA. The Association reimburses membership fees in exceptional circumstances such as:  

• individual members who have been included in the institutional membership can be reimbursed; 
• individual members who have changed academic institutions, and moved to the institution that already had an institutional membership. 

Please note that we will only reimburse or cancel memberships two weeks from a date of subscription to the Association. Further, we will not reimburse or cancel memberships pass the 1st of September of any given year. 

 To request a refund, please info@ecrea.eu with a brief explanation of the purpose of the cancellation. The following cancellation fees will apply: 

• Individual memberships cancellation: €5
• Institutional memberships cancellation: €25 
• Associate membership cancellation: No charge

In addition, please note that the bank transfer fees will be made chargeable to the applicant / member.

The reimbursement will be made based on a signed agreement with members for every reimbursement as a supporting document. The reimbursements will be made within two weeks from the date of an agreement.
